relaxing after match


Wrestling match is a match of very small duration but it makes the player physically tired and exhausted. It is very important to relax after match so that the player can get prepared mentally and physically for the next challenge. Relax is very important as proper rest is needed for many reasons, they are as follows:
1.       Complete rest to the muscles.
2.       To reduce the flow of blood.
3.       To prevent cramps or strain in muscles.
4.       To regain the energy lost while wrestling.
The players can follow few steps to get the player relaxed after a match by following steps:
1.       Breathing – Taking slow, deep breath in 4:4 second count, in and out.
2.     Stretching – stretch for about 15 to 25 minutes. Few good stretches are Hamstring stretch, Quadriceps stretch, Oblique stretch, Triceps stretch, Calf stretch, Back stretch.
3.       Sleeping
4.        Message- the muscles need to be massaged only the injured area is to be avoided.
5.       Bathing – having a bath or sauna can make a player feel quite relaxed.
6.       Meditation
7.       Green Tea – A cup of warm green tea can be quite relaxing.

8.       Acupuncture
