Football Football

Football is India's second most popular sport. Traditionally it has enjoyed popularity in the regions such as West Bengal, Goa, Kerala, Odisha, Assam,  Manipur,  Meghalaya, Mizoram,  Nagaland,  Tripura   and   Sikkim. The origin of football in India can be traced back to mid-nineteenth century when the game was introduced by British soldiers; clubs were soon set up around the country. Calcutta FC was the first club to be established in 1872, started football as late as 1894. Other early clubs include Dalhousie Club, Traders Club and Naval Volunteers Club. Several other football clubs like Sovabazar, Mohun Bagan  and Aryan Club were established in Calcutta around the 1890s. Calcutta, then capital of British India, soon became the hub of Indian football. Tournaments like Gladstone Cup, Trades Cup and Cooch Behar Cup was also started around this time. Wrestling match is a match of very small duration but it makes the player physically tired and exhausted. It is very important to relax after match so that the player can get prepared mentally and physically for the next challenge. Relax is very important as proper rest is needed for many reasons, they are as follows: 1.        Complete rest to the muscles. 2.        To reduce the flow of blood. 3.        To prevent cramps or strain in muscles. 4.        To regain the energy lost while wrestling. The players can follow few steps to get the player relaxed after a match by following steps: 1.        Breathing – Taking slow, deep breath in 4:4 second count, in and out. 2.      Stretching – stretch for about 15 to 25 minutes. It is the best time for the entire sports lover in India. India is going through one of the finest period in terms of sports. It is a magic of the men in blue in all the fields. The team Indian is achieving success in the Champions Trophy, Asian Cup qualifier and Hockey World League. This week was an action packed week where in cricket India won against Bangladesh in the Semi-Final of the ICC Champions Trophy and made its way to the Final against Pakistan on 18 th of June 2017, Sunday at Oval, England. On the other hand Indian footballs have shown their power against Kyrgyzstan on 14 th of June. England not only witnessed the victory of Indian cricket team but also of the Indian Hockey team who defeated Scotland by 3 goals. Hope to see more exciting victories by India in the upcoming period.

BPWL THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS… However with the end of June, we are nearing towards something big and grand, the Bengal Pro Wrestling League. The franchise based professional league will be arriving very soon to rock you with some marvelous Wrestling and entertainment ventures. Bengal Pro Wrestling will be the first such franchise based sports league to be held not only in Bengal but also in Eastern India.
